The Farley Hill Flower Farm journey begins…

The stage is being set (if the stage is a field just outside of Reading!)

After weeks of planning, the planting compost has arrived and so, to work. Marking out the no-dig beds, laying with corrugated cardboard and then covering with 15cm of a rich growing medium, next season’s seeding and planting can begin.

Farley Hill Flower Farm will develop over the rest of 2026 and will be budding, blossoming and bursting into colour, ready for curtain-up in 2027
